Serving Our Community
Utah County Sheriff Search and Rescue serves under the Utah County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Services division. When a 911 call comes in from somewhere off the pavement, Search and Rescue is part of the response.
This team is made up of volunteers who give their time and energy to help people in difficult places and difficult conditions. The work includes rescue response, technical field support, training, and preparedness.
Volunteer Mission
The team is built around service. Members train hard, respond when needed, and support one another in the field.
Cross-Trained Response
Rescue work can call for rope systems, emergency medicine, tracking, communications, water response, and mountain travel. The team trains across those needs.
Local Impact
The work helps residents and visitors stay safer while exploring Utah County’s trails, canyons, peaks, and backroads.
